Christmas 2014

Christmas 2014
We did a lot of Christmas celebrations this year! It was a lot of fun to see the boys enjoy the tree, talk about baby Jesus, open presents, and spend time with family. Here are pictures from Christmas 2014:
Our Christmas, Saturday, December 20:

James received a trampoline and John received a soccer goal.

John got a Romo Cowboy jersey. Just like Daddy!

We had a "Curious George" birthday celebration at our house with family. James wasn't too much into the presents, but did LOVE his cake! Here are some pictures from the special day:

Baby #3

Baby #3

Baby #3 is arriving June 8, 2015! We are very excited about this addition to our family. We will have three under three for a month before John turns three. Our family will be a little bit crazy and hectic for a while, but we couldn't be more blessed.

On December 22, 2014 we found out baby #3 is a GIRL! We will name her Grace Ann Parsons.

We have liked the name Grace since before we had John. It means:
Ann is a family name on both sides for our family. It is Julie's middle name, Elizabeth's middle name, Barbara's (Mema's) middle name, and Jacqueline's (Meema's) middle name.

We are very excited for both our boys to have a little sister!

James - 12 Months

James at 12 Months

James was having so many ear infections, so we got tubes in his ears on December 4, 2014. Since getting tubes his speech is developing quicker.
Words he likes to use: ball, dada, book, wawa "water", vroom, cho cho, no (while shaking his head).
James plays pretty independently with balls or books.
He likes to go to his room and read in the little nook area.
At dinner time if he doesn't like a food he pretends it's a ball and throws it on the ground, looks at it, then says "uh oh".
He took his first steps on January 1, 2015 at Mema and Bill's house for Christmas with the Gentry's.
Everyone clapped for him when he walked, so he stopped and clapped for himself too.

John - 29 Months

John is staying healthy this year, which is a big change from last year when he got tubes in his ears.
He has started using the phrase "I don't want to".
John will go potty in the big potty before bath time. Will try to start potty training after the new year.
Still loves to eat, but has become a little more picky. He has his go-to foods of chicken nuggets, pizza, chicken/cheese roll-ups, veggie straws, fruit packs, and waffles.
He is becoming more and more independent. Likes to put on his own shoes, get in the car himself, open/close doors, get his own plate, plays on the playground with little assistance, plays in the backyard or upstairs with James for about 20 minutes at a time.
John speaks in sentences and really wants you to understand what he is trying to tell you.
He remembers everything. Things that happened months ago he can still tell you the details.
